Terms of Service
Last updated: August 16, 2026
Draft notice: these terms are a good-faith working draft and are flagged for review by a licensed Arizona attorney before or within 30 days of this site's public launch, per this business's standard compliance practice. They are not themselves legal advice.
1. Acceptance of terms
By using yumafenceandwall.com (the "Site"), operated by Yuma Fence & Wall ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. What this Site is — and isn't
Yuma Fence & Wall is an independent local resource that connects Yuma-area homeowners with third-party fencing and block wall contractors. We don't perform installation or repair work ourselves — every project is completed by an independent, separately owned and operated business.
We are not a contractor, and we do not perform fencing or block wall installation or repair work. Any statements about pricing, licensing, or code requirements on this Site are provided for general informational purposes and are not a substitute for a contractor's own written quote or a licensed attorney's advice on your specific situation.
3. Eligibility — 18+ only
You must be at least 18 years old to submit a quote request or opt in to SMS communications through this Site. By submitting a request, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the authority to request services for the property described.
4. SMS messaging program terms
Program description: if you opt in via the checkbox on our quote request form, Yuma Fence & Wall may send you text messages related to your specific quote request — including confirmation, status updates, and messages from the independent contractor(s) matched to your project. This is a transactional messaging program tied to your request, not a general marketing list.
Consent scope (one-to-one): your SMS consent names the specific business(es) authorized to text you — Yuma Fence & Wall and the independent contractor(s) matched to your submitted project. If your project is later referred to a different provider than the one named at submission, we obtain that provider's own consent from you before they send any automated marketing message. Consent is never required to submit a quote request — the SMS checkbox is optional, and unchecking it does not prevent us from processing your request by phone or email.
Message frequency: may vary based on your request and any follow-up needed to connect you with a contractor.
Message and data rates may apply. Standard rates from your wireless carrier apply to any messages sent or received.
Opt-out: reply STOP at any time to a message from us to opt out of further SMS communication. You may also contact us directly through our Contact page.
Help: reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us through our Contact page.
Carrier liability disclaimer: carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator and depends on factors outside our control, including your device and service coverage.
Supported carriers: most major U.S. wireless carriers are supported; coverage may vary.
5. Call recording
Calls to our tracked phone number may be recorded, consistent with Arizona's one-party consent law (A.R.S. § 13-3005, § 13-3012(9)). See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
6. No guarantee of licensing, insurance, or workmanship
we work with providers who report being licensed and insured through the Arizona Registrar of Contractors — verify any specific contractor's license directly at roc.az.gov before hiring. We do our best to match requests to businesses that report appropriate Arizona ROC licensing, but we do not independently verify every contractor's license, insurance, or workmanship on an ongoing basis, and we make no warranty — express or implied — regarding any contractor's work. You are responsible for your own diligence, including verifying license status at roc.az.gov, before hiring anyone.
7. No fee to homeowners
Requesting a quote through this Site is free for homeowners and property owners. We do not charge you for matching you with a contractor.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yuma Fence & Wall is not liable for any damages, disputes, or losses arising from your interactions with, or the work performed by, any independent contractor matched through this Site. Your relationship with any contractor you engage is solely between you and that contractor.
9. Intellectual property
The content on this Site — including text, cost guides, and design — is owned by Yuma Fence & Wall or its licensors and may not be copied or reproduced without permission, except as needed for your own personal, non-commercial reference.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
