About Yuma Fence & Wall
A Straightforward Resource for Fencing & Block Wall Projects in Yuma
What Yuma Fence & Wall is
Yuma Fence & Wall is an independent local resource that connects Yuma-area homeowners with third-party fencing and block wall contractors. We don't perform installation or repair work ourselves — every project is completed by an independent, separately owned and operated business. We built this site to bring both trades — fencing and block wall construction — together in one place, because most local companies in Yuma specialize in only one, which leaves homeowners piecing together separate research for what's often a single decision (fence or wall? which license does the job need? what does City of Yuma code actually require on my lot?).
What we don't do
We don't install or repair fencing or block walls ourselves, and we don't claim to. We aren't a general contractor, and no one associated with this site performs the physical work described on it. Every project referred through this site is completed by an independent, separately owned and operated business — we work with providers who report being licensed and insured through the Arizona Registrar of Contractors — verify any specific contractor's license directly at roc.az.gov before hiring.
Our research methodology
Every cost figure, code citation, and licensing fact on this site is sourced and dated, not estimated from general knowledge. Concretely, that means:
- Cost ranges (like the ones on the fence cost guide) come from Yuma-specific pricing data where we can find it, cross-referenced against national aggregators — and when we can't find a verified Yuma-local figure, we say so and don't publish a number, rather than presenting a national average as if it were local. The block wall cost guide is a live example of that policy in practice.
- Code and permit information (like the permit & height rules guide) is cited directly to the actual City of Yuma Municipal Code section, not paraphrased secondhand.
- Licensing information (like the R-14 vs. R-31 guide) is sourced directly from the Arizona Registrar of Contractors' own published classification list.
- Every claim gets a verification date, and we recheck facts periodically rather than publishing them once and leaving them stale — ordinances and pricing both change over time.
How the free quote request works
When you submit a project through this site, we pass your information to an independent, appropriately-licensed local contractor whose scope matches what you described — fence or block wall, repair or new installation. You're never obligated to hire anyone who contacts you, and we encourage you to independently verify any contractor's Arizona ROC license at roc.az.gov before signing a contract, regardless of how you found them.
